Nice beach with some really good restaurants on the beach front.

We've already encountered 10-20 highly aggressive dogs. They seem to live in old stables and guard their territory. We had to wait for a car to escort us past, alongside the dogs. Absolutely avoid!

Valtos Beach is one of the main beaches in Parga. Most of the areas with sunbeds belong to hotels and cost money. If you walk up the hill on the west side of the beach, you will reach a path that leads to Sarakkiniko Beach. It is very busy here in high season. Hiking is particularly beautiful in spring and autumn. From Valtos there is also a path to the village of Anthousa and to an old mill with a museum about the history of the region.

Attacked and pursued by 7-8 aggressive street dogs - avoid this street from here westwards. Town generally dog-infested
