The new observation tower is modeled after a pine cone. With a height of over 45 meters, the tower offers views over the Frankenwald, the Fichtelgebirge, and as far as Thuringia. The house of God is a former fortified church, built in 1513 using wall sections from the 13th century. The oldest frescoes date from 1512 and 1517. 1648, after the turmoil of the Thirty Years' War, the church was adorned with magnificent ceiling paintings.
