Krkonoše National Park (Czech: Krkonošský národní park, abbreviated as KRNAP) is a national park in the Liberec and Hradec Králové Regions of the Czech Republic. It covers most of the Krkonoše Mountains (Czech: Krkonoše), the country's highest point. The park is also on the UNESCO Biosphere Reserve list. It borders the Karkonosze National Park in Poland. The highest mountain in Krkonoše is Sněžka at 1,603 m (5,259 ft), which is also the highest mountain in all of the Czech Republic. The nature of the Krkonoše Mountains is very diverse - the geological substrate, its dynamic development in the past, the influence of the cold climate and subsequent warming have led to the formation of diverse biotopes and the preservation of rare species of plants and animals for our nature. There are about 300 species of vertebrates and more than 1200 species of vascular plants and many times more spore-bearing plants (such as mosses, slime molds, ferns, and lichens).

If you go to Sněžka in the summer, wear autumn clothes. If you go to Sněžka in the autumn, wear winter clothes. If you go to Sněžka in the winter, wear clothes that you would also wear in the Arctic! And if you go to Sněžka in the spring, wear clothes for all four seasons. 🌦️😅
