Once a buffer for the bang in nearby ore and slate mining, from the 17th century onwards, when gunpowder found its way into mining

Everything is easily doable if you can also manage to get the ladder up to the attic at home.. However, you should wear suitable shoes and not be afraid

A beautiful hike through a truly special valley. From Dörsbach, the trail ascends in numerous steps through the gorge, past many "waterfalls" over which the Wäschbach stream carves its way through the steep valley. Not a hike for beginners!

For those who enjoy searching for paths, sometimes crawling through undergrowth, and expecting surprises, this trail is highly recommended. We occasionally strayed from the path, and some wide sections looked as if they hadn't been used for years. So, we continued along with plenty of humor and a touch of sarcasm.
