Municipal Harbor Strande The Strande Harbor is the first marina on the west bank of the Kiel Fjord on the sea side at the entrance to Kiel. The old fishing harbor was expanded to include a sports boat harbor with seven jetties and offers 350 berths for sailing and motor boats with a depth of 2.6 - 4.0 m. Four jetties on the west side of the harbor are floating jetties. The harbor has two slipways, a ship and mast crane, and the Kiel Yacht Club has its own shipyard with comprehensive service offerings - which can also be used by "non-members". Members of the Yacht Club Strande also have their boats here.Strandet Harbor

You can cycle right past the boats. Be careful! When the boats are launched (brought ashore) in the autumn, there are lots of sharp mussel shells/barnacles lying around.
