At least there's a small stretch of this road where you can enjoy a decent path.

The church's elongated brick hall was built in the 15th century and extended to the south in 1695. The neo-Gothic renovation in 1901 gave the church its present appearance, adding the west tower and south porch and replacing the windows. Remains of a medieval baptismal font and a holy water font can be seen in the east wall. The interior includes a Baroque pulpit altar from around 1700 with rich carvings, pews and galleries from the 18th century, and votive discs from 1599 from Stulpe Monastery. The organ with its neo-Gothic facade comes from the Völkner workshop in Dünnow.

A bridge takes you over the Peene here. There are various theories about where the river's name comes from. One says that the name comes from the Slavic word Pěna, which means "foam". Whatever the case, the Peene originates from several source rivers, all of which have Peene in their name.

Very well-kept small cemetery all around, but unfortunately, as is often the case, a closed church. The nicely laid out benches in front of the gate are unfortunately very dilapidated and are no longer suitable for sitting.
