Super nice beach, you can almost ride your bike into the water, fine sand and it gets deep in the water pretty quickly, had the dog with us... but there were no prohibition signs like usual for dogs 🤷♂️

The trails in Äspets Naturreservat feature diverse terrain, including coastal dune systems with sandy beaches, extensive pine forests, and areas of beech and oak. The elevation changes are generally low, making for comfortable walks for both you and your dog.
While dogs are welcome, it's important to keep them on a leash, especially in areas with sensitive wildlife like the Korran lagoon, which is a bird sanctuary. Always remember to clean up after your dog to help preserve the natural beauty of the reserve for everyone.
Yes, Äspets Naturreservat offers several circular routes perfect for dog walks. For example, you can explore the Sandhammaren Beach – Sand Beach loop from Södra Äspets naturreservat, which covers about 8.5 kilometers, or the slightly longer Sand Beach – Sandhammaren Beach loop from Södra Äspets naturreservat at over 10 kilometers.
You and your dog can enjoy a variety of natural features, from the expansive coastal dunes and sandy beaches to serene pine and beech forests. The Korran lagoon is a significant bird sanctuary, offering opportunities for birdwatching from designated towers, though access to parts of the lagoon is restricted for bird protection.

Äspets Naturreservat is beautiful year-round. Spring and autumn offer pleasant temperatures for hiking and less crowded trails.
