the point at which the Kennet and Avon canal crossed the river and railway line via the Aqueduct built by John Rennie & John Thomas between 1797 and 1801. Good pub here which will reopen summer 2025. This is on the main railway line now becoming a regular (request?) stop since 2011

This is (I believe) the oldest Tithe barn in either the South West, or the county?! I cant remember 🤦‍♀️ so not much help!! BUT, it's definitely worth poking your head in, it is a lovely space and you can sort of feel the past, and I love that.

It was extremely flooded when I went, but of course this doesn't happen all year!! Make sure to check out the tithe barn, and the absolutely stunning Saxon church!
