The parish prides itself on an extraordinary treasure – the Miraculous Image of Our Lady. Traces of motherly care can be seen here, as we walk the paths of history and the present. This is also evidenced by the chapels in honour of Mary scattered around the area of this beautiful retreat. The image of the Jaśliska sanctuary itself is signed and dated. From the signature placed at the bottom of the image, it would seem that it is a painting by Piotr Rafael Burnathowicz, a painter from Brzozów, created in 1634. However, from 1602 we find a post-visitation protocol, which clearly mentions that the image of Our Lady was already in the altarpiece of the great altar (...)
