Many people prefer services that do not unnecessarily complicate things. When a platform is well-structured, everything can be used more easily. With https://bet-score.it/ you can really feel this attention to practicality. Navigation is smooth and allows you to quickly find what interests you. This is an advantage that is particularly noticeable in daily use.

That kind of “casual naming” for places is actually pretty interesting — I’ve seen similar things where locals give buildings completely different meanings than their official purpose. It makes navigation and exploration feel a bit more personal and confusing at the same time. I had a similar thought when browsing different platforms and comparing how they present structure and naming conventions. For example, on https://casinorolldorado.de/ the layout is very straightforward, but even there the way sections are labeled can influence how quickly you understand what’s what. It’s funny how context changes perception — whether it’s an old factory building called a “casino” or a modern site interface, clarity really shapes the experience.

It's a piece of history, but it requires a lot of time and caution when exploring. It's worth preparing in advance.

It’s called „hotel” by locals due to it’s shape with characteristic balcony however it was nitrocelulose station where celulose was nitrated. Process was extremaly toxic. Balconies were needed to allow workers to take quick brake from acidic gases. Holes in the floor are leftovers from vertical mixing instalation. On the top floor you can find concrete celulose reservoirs. On the ground floor cylindrical bases for tanks and machinery. Ground floor was covered with special tiles that could stand contact with acid. Building have concrete support and walls made of bricks. Because nitrocelulose is explosive the whole idea is: in case of explosion the support remains while the walls are blown up. This solution allowed to quickly fix damage and continue production.

There are good signposted paths. One leads past the casino. But nothing is going on in the casino anymore.

All the signs said it was a hotel on the former complex of Alfred Nobel's explosives factory. Based on the construction and the shape of the holes in the floor, I can't imagine that.

The Casino (name accepted locally) is a building at the main gate of the factory. Nearby are several warehouses and ruins of administrative buildings. The "casino" had a double function in the combination. There was a canteen and a factory headquarters. The reliefs are still well preserved today: they show silhouettes of men with flags. The lintel of the main entrance is covered with a relief depicting the stylized silhouette of a beaver surrounded by fertile oak branches. None of these ornaments are complete today, and the unique azure windows that lit the staircase have been destroyed. The purpose of this building is not documented. Several repeated reports state that the headquarters and offices were located there, as well as a military casino, a rich library and a cinema. Text of the information boards

The power plant, equipped with steam turbines, was functionally connected to heating blocks and fired steam and hot water for technological needs, housing needs and rail transport. The thermal power plant group consisted of two double blocks separated by a railway track and a common fuel storage facility. Both complexes differed in the construction of chimney systems and fuel transport facilities for chute silos above the furnace hall. In the first building there are solid brick stacks and the coal from the warehouse was transported via a ramp from which a conveyor with a bucket was mounted. The second block reserve was equipped with two telescopic steel chimneys, and the fuel supply was carried out using carriages suspended on the guides on the roof of the transport ramp.
