Endriu XC
September 8, 2025, Brine Graduation Tower in Pyrzyce

The graduation tower is located on Ciepłownicza Street, near the geothermal springs. "That's where the brine comes from, and we don't have to transport it because it's supplied directly from the geothermal source. The site is located next to the bike path, where every cyclist can stop; the area has been developed with plantings and benches, providing a place to rest," explains Marzena Podzińska, mayor of Pyrzyce.

In 2024, the park around the well was revitalized. Three figures were placed at the well: Bishop Otto of Bamberg, who came with a Christianization mission, Warcisław I - the Duke of Pomerania, who accepted Christianity, and Bolesław Krzywousty - the Polish prince who conquered Pomerania, made Warcisław I his vassal and sent a Christianization mission.

The church was built in the 13th century. Initially, it was a single-nave granite building with a tower on the west side. In the 14th century, a brick chancel was added, and then the main nave was demolished and a new one, also made of brick, was built. In the 15th century, an ambulatory was built around the chancel with a tower on the east side, and two side naves were extended to the sides of the west tower. The church was destroyed by fire twice and then rebuilt. In the 19th century, it was rebuilt in the neo-Gothic style. During World War II, the church was seriously damaged. The reconstruction was completed in 1977. The east tower was not rebuilt.
