The Deutschordensschloss in Ełk (formerly Lyck) is the ruin of a Teutonic Knights' castle from the late 14th century, built between 1398 and 1406 under Ulrich von Jungingen. The complex, which later served as a ducal seat and prison, is picturesquely located on an island in Lake Ełk in the Polish region of Masuria. The old castle is currently being renovated. The first building is already finished.
