The secret hidden UNDER the stone (The geodetic secret of the "witness") Did you know that this boundary stone on Łabędzia Street hides a secret layer? Former Austrian surveyors used a clever trick to protect against fraudsters. If someone wanted to secretly move the stone at night (e.g., to enlarge their field or change the state border line), they would be in for a surprise. Under each of these official stones, a so-called "witness" was buried deep in the ground. Most often it was: A glass bottle A clay pot or a thick layer of fired shards A special, smaller stone with exactly the same cross incision. If someone moved the upper post, the fraud was immediately revealed during an inspection! Surveyors would dig up the earth and check if the intact, underground "witness" was underneath. Thanks to this, no one could falsify the borders of the Habsburg Empire.

In the footsteps of old borders: Habsburg pillar on Łabędzia street A sensational spot on the route through Brzeszcze, located on Łabędzia street. Here you will find a wonderfully preserved witness of past eras – an original, Austrian border pillar from the times of the Habsburg dynasty's reign. In the 18th and 19th centuries, it marked the historical dividing lines in the region. The place is easily accessible, located directly by the road, making it ideal for a short stop, to catch your breath, and take a souvenir photo during a cycling or hiking escapade!

The description of the attraction should be: The mouth of the Mleczna River into Gostyń. The Mleczna River flows into the Gostyń River, not the other way around. Secondly, it's the Gostyń River, not the Gostynka.
