The name of the village comes from the shoal, a sandy shoal stretching almost continuously from the tip of the headland to the bank of the Hel Peninsula. Rewa is located at the mouth of Mostowe Błota. The town is entirely located in the Coastal Landscape Park and is covered by a special protection area for habitats, "Zatoka Pucka and the Hel Peninsula". Behind the southern buildings of the village there is the Mechelińskie Łąki nature reserve with its buffer zone to the south along the coast. The area around Rewa is included in the "Zatoka Pucka" special bird protection area.
