The Pogórzańska Homestead in Gwoźnica Górna - a homestead purchased from Antoni Błądziński to be used as a museum of Julian Przyboś - the most famous poet born and buried in this town (the poet's family house burned down in 1958. Today, this place is commemorated by a boulder in Gwoźnica Dolna). A mini open-air museum was then created, which included: a cottage, a horse stable and a granary (all from the second half of the 19th century) and a barn from around 1890. In these rooms, memorabilia related to the poet's life and work as well as ethnographic collections were collected. The museum was open from 1988 to 2008. Later it was closed and the exhibits were moved to the District Museum in Rzeszów. Currently, the Pogórzańska Homestead can be viewed (from the outside) from Monday to Friday in the presence of a Museum employee from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. or after prior notification by phone at 665 972 186. Admission is free. Photo: Bartłomiej Bara.
