In the village of Łężany, located in the Miejsce Piastowe commune, on Jana Pawła II Street, almost on the border with Krosno, near house number 216, lies a former epidemic cemetery, most likely established in the first half of the 19th century for cholera victims from Łężany, Widacz, Zalesie, and Targowiska. This site was carefully renovated in 2020. A signpost was placed along the main road, making it easy to find. I highly recommend stopping here for a moment and reflecting on the transience of our existence. Today we visited the tower and explored the accessible rooms. The ground floor doors were closed, while the upstairs room with a nature photography exhibition was open, and of course, the viewing gallery on the second floor. For now, the view toward the expansive Carpathian panorama is unobstructed, but that will change. Right across the asphalt road between the tower and the panorama, in an area slightly higher than the base of the observation tower, someone has planted spruce trees along the road. 😮 The observation deck on the tower is 9 meters high. I was looking for information on how long it will take for the spruce trees to reach this height and block the view. The AI review provided the following answer: "A spruce tree needs about 15 to 30 years to reach 9 meters in height, as it grows on average 30 to 60 cm per year, with the fastest growth occurring between the 5th and 15th year of the tree's life. Recently the church has been renovated - the appearance of the tower has changed. Instead of silver, the tower walls are brown. The belfry remains unchanged for now. WW

Suchodolska Street (connecting the city of Krosno with the village of Suchodół) once ran through this bridge, currently Kardynała Wyszyńskiego Street. A new, wider one was built next to the old bridge and a new street was created here. The renovation of the bridge is partial because it covered the stonework on the side side, but not the surface and railings. Entrance to the bridge is fenced on both sides, but "in the event of W" (potential damage to the new bridge), you will be able to cross the old bridge on foot or by bike.
