The palace in Łęgowo, which was owned by the von Unruh family from 1761, was founded in the 4th quarter of the 19th century for Hans Wilhelm zu Unruhe-Bomst, within the grounds of the former farmstead. After World War II, the farmstead was parcelled out among the population migrating from the east, and the larger part came under the management of the State Agricultural Farm (PGR). The State Educational and Care Centre was also located there. At the turn of the 80s and 90s, a fire occurred, and only the walls remained of the palace. Currently, the palace is a ruin.
