The water tower was built in 1902, at a time when a huge military training ground was being built and the small village of Neuhammer (Świętoszów) was transformed into a garrison headquarters and military training center.

The church was built in the 14th century. In the first half of the 16th century it was rebuilt. The main body was raised and widened towards the south and east, vaults were built and a sacristy with a gallery was added to the north. It represents a transitional style between Gothic and Renaissance. There is a small lapidarium next to the church, created from the remains of tombstones from the old cemetery.

The church was built in 1732 as an Evangelical church thanks to the efforts of the then owners of the Małomice estate. After 1945 it was unused and devastated. After being taken over by the Polish Catholic parish it was renovated in the years 1982-1984.
