Bistro Centrum is located on the ground floor of Galeria Malborska. The entrance to the Gallery is from two opposite sides of the building - from the petrol station at Aleja Rodła and from Kościuszki Street, which leads to the market square. Prices of meals are attractive. We paid 73 PLN for goulash, roast, and pancakes, and three people were full. One might have reservations about the timeliness of the offer displayed on the screens - it encourages ordering liver in its own sauce, and when I tried to order, a not-very-polite lady behind the counter replied that there was no liver. Next door, behind the wall, is the Bagietka cafe. It offers scoop ice cream in eight flavors, coffee, and a few types of cakes. We ate WZ cakes for 6.59 PLN. I have attached photos. WW

The Malbork water tower is a real gem, perfectly prepared for tourists. It no longer serves a water supply function. A modern elevator has been installed, which allows easy access from the ground floor to the third floor. From there, you have to climb 67 steps, which is possible even for people with a moderate fear of heights. The huge steel riveted tank has been cut at the bottom, allowing entry inside and viewing the city panorama through the windows on all four sides of the tower. The castle is clearly visible. Admission is free and the opening hours are shown in the photo I attached. Please ring the bell before entering. WW

A place of numerous meetings, shows, concerts and street performances to the delight of tourists. City square with a fountain in the shape of a knight's shield with swords, referring to medieval history. The main attraction of this place is the fountain. The water flows from almost 50 jets and "dances" to the rhythm of selected sounds. The colorful water jets provide a unique show, especially after dusk. In summer, every Friday and Saturday, the historical shows of the fountain resound. In this interesting, half-hour performance, the history of Marienburg is shown. https://de.visitmalbork.pl/1156,Tanzender-bunter-Springbrunnen.html

The monument was erected in the pedestrian zone in 2010 and shows the figure of King Casimir IV. Andreas with a sceptre in his hand. The sculpture, with a height of 348 cm, was cast entirely from bronze. This is a monument to the Polish king, who, with his triumphant entry into Malbork in June 1457, initiated the so-called Polish times, which lasted for 315 years. The monument to King Casimir IV. Andreas was intended to commemorate the Polish history of the city. https://de.visitmalbork.pl/1155,Denkmal-fr-Knig-Kasimir-den-4-Andreas.html

The Malbork sign is a striking photo motif on the southern edge of the old town - a modern welcome point that offers you a clear moment of orientation. Located directly on easily walkable paths, it is suitable as a short stop on tours between Marienburg, the Nogat promenade, and the surrounding parks. More symbol than sight, but a nice place for a break and a quick souvenir photo.

The water tower on Słowiański Square in Marienburg (Malbork) was built when the water and sewage pipes were laid in the city. The brick building was erected on a high, octagonal stone base. The cylindrical tower was divided at the corners of the base by narrow pilasters. The building has three floors, each with one room. The water tank and the spiral staircase have been preserved to this day. https://de.visitmalbork.pl/1121,Wasserturm-am-Slowianski-Platz.html
