In former times, there was a ferry crossing the Oder at this spot. Directly adjacent is the entrance to the old Oder harbor. A memorial stone on the main street commemorates the 1997 Oder flood. A little further along the Oder, there are several flood markers from other years.

You decide whether Staw Górny is more beautiful than Staw Dolny - but it is a very nice area - a forest on the edge of the pond: peaceful, quiet and there are even some dunes on the shores of the pond. A beautiful place for Sunday walks.

It is worth stopping here, at the Dolny Pond. There is a tourist shelter here, so you can sit and look at the beautiful surface of the pond. Since there is a table and benches, you can also have a picnic here.

Theoretically a pedestrian and bicycle route, and without continuity, but in practice a great bicycle path. Smooth asphalt, wide and elegantly separated from traffic. The perfect option to continue your ride from the bike path to the south without breaking through the city itself.
