Legendary views on the Upper Lusatia Mountain Trail
Our hike today starts in Oybin, we want to walk a bit over the mountains. The starting point is the parking lot with a view of the Oybin mountain, we have already explored the castle and the monastery on another day. We walk a few steps through the village, next to us the spa park, on the ground a colorful sea of leaves, it is autumn. Shortly thereafter, we pass the train station, the mountain rises to our left. The ride with the narrow-gauge railway is an absolute highlight and highly recommended. We leave the village and dive into nature. https://youtu.be/N2GgTh6HEzQ

Not only for the inflow and outflow of the Machasee, but also for the railway, a deep, long trench was hewn through the rock.

There are many stone figures here that resemble animals or things... e.g. a teapot. You can make great discoveries. The rock with sandstone and lava components is already special.

The open-air theater is probably active during the season. Outside of this time, a visit through the natural "catacombs" is worthwhile.

We arrive at the Black Hole, an impressive rocky passage we traverse. The millstone quarry was operated between 1600 and 1915, and the rock was mined to a depth of 50 meters. The show mine can only be visited with a guided tour. We continue through this landscape, walking between the rocks, until we reach the rock formations of the St. Bernard and the Rhinoceros. https://youtu.be/Ip7zpvYwFBw https://youtu.be/v1A-Dy4595U
