Tips from the Community

Carmen Kemperle
October 14, 2025, Ridge Trail from Baška to Vela Luka Bay

A beautiful hike, passing many beautiful bays where you can cool off... The path there is well signposted and clearly visible thanks to the markings on the ground! The paths are mostly very easy; there are only a few places where you almost have to climb; you can't get past them! To save yourself the return trip, you should book a taxi boat... they run regularly from Vela Luka to Baska during the high season... and in the off-season, you can book by phone! A must-do when on the island of Krk!!! Have fun!

Drive to the church as the starting and finishing point; parking is free. The trail is classified as easy. Sturdy footwear (hiking boots) is required. Very nice view.
