Mckeever Lake is one of the largest lakes in the area, covering over 130 acres in size. Campsites can be found at Ewing Point. The lake is popular for anglers, and swimming is allowed although it is worth knowing that there may be hidden objects under the water so take caution. The easiest way to get to the lake is to follow Bruno's Run Trail.

The Colwell Lake Trail is a short and family-friendly loop around Colwell Lake. The trail passes by a beach, boat launch, and multiple campsites. There are picnic areas all along the shoreline, making the loop a great place to stop for a lunch. The beach offers swimming and other water sport activities.

Pete's Lake Recreation Area is on the shores of Pete's Lake. The lake has opportunities for hiking, cycling, camping, kayaking, and swimming. There are picnic areas and benches right on the shoreline, making it a great place to go and relax with the family.

Moccasin Lake can be found just off of the Federal Forest Highway 13, and on the Bruno's Run Trail. There is a parking area right next to the lake, and picnic tables and benches can be found along the shoreline.
