Skidaway Island State Park Interpretive Center is next to the main parking lot. The biggest attraction here is the 20-foot Giant Ground Sloth replica. I knew there were bigger animals back in the day, but a 20-foot-tall sloth surprised me too! You will also find a reptile room, trail maps, and reference books. All-in-all a great start on a day trip to Skidaway Island State Park.
