This trail is open to mountain biking, walking, and leashed dogs. The trail is public and open year-round, with nice views of the north side of Lunenburg and Black Harbor.

Battery Point has a lighthouse that has stood on the outer end of the breakwater since 1864. The lighthouse still has a fog signal that sounds every 20 seconds when the fog is thick. Sometimes the access gate is closed to the public, so it is not always a walkable destination.

This is a great spot to get a breathtaking panorama that encompasses Dublin Bay and the Atlantic. The dunes separate the beach from the bay, rising higher toward the east. Offshore, you’ll see plenty of fishing boats and the LaHave Islands in the distance.

This is a fantastic spot with expansive views across Green Bay. The bay is shallow, with tidal flats and salt marshes that shift with the tide. It’s a beautiful vantage point, and as you walk along the beach, you’ll see plenty of seabirds working the shoreline.

Its expansive shoreline and dunes make it a popular spot for walking, sunbathing, and windsurfing. The beach also serves as a natural sandbar, connecting the LaHave Islands to the mainland.
