Big Creek Greenway Alpharetta Trail is one of my favorite sections of the Big Creek Greenway. The trail is smooth, well maintained, and surrounded by trees, making it a great place for biking, running, or walking. Even though you're close to Alpharetta, it feels peaceful and quiet once you're on the trail. There are plenty of scenic spots along the way, and the mostly flat terrain makes it enjoyable for riders and walkers of all skill levels. It's a great place to get some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors.

Located just minutes from Roswell, Avalon in Alpharetta, Georgia, blends modern luxury with small-town Southern charm in a thoughtfully designed, walkable community. While the development itself opened in 2014, it sits in an area rich with North Georgia history—close to Roswell’s 19th-century mills and historic homes—offering visitors a contemporary experience with deep regional roots.
