Excellent. The trail is in good condition, but be aware that it climbs steeply and descends sharply in some places.

Magnificent medieval village perched above the Aveyron. A 5-6 kilometer route, the Circuit des Rennes (PR9), also allows you to go around it.

This medieval town is perched on top of a cliff, in the heart of the Aveyron gorges. Bruniquel is labeled “Most beautiful villages in France”. Among its best assets are its imposing castle, its corbelled or half-timbered houses, its turrets, its mullioned windows and its flowery streets.

Beautiful village to visit. View of the castle. Magnificent places throughout the circuit. I recommend good shoes because the path is stony.

The Aveyron is a river in southern France. It rises in the Massif Central, near the town of Sévérac-le-Château. The department of Aveyron was named after this river. The river flows through three departments of the Occitanie region: Aveyron, Tarn and Tarn-et-Garonne.

I don't understand this path too steep path forced to descend the bike for a while to climb too rubbery impossible to ride a mountain bike at least for me in addition to the indications in all directions we do not understand anything too bad I made a good part next to the mountain bike and I did not go to the end of the circuit but I climbed to the top for me it was not possible I would have said an expert circuit. They say that this path goes through Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val and to see it they may have made a mistake on the circuit because it is quite far and is not indicated on the route

Magnificent site, like all the bastides of 81 and 82. Each has its own particularity. Bruniquel has its castle, famous for Queen Brunehaut, a historical figure who entered the legend and the film Le Vieux Fusil with Romy Schneider and the magnificent interpretation of Philippe Noiret.
