It's also very easy to cycle. Some paths along the route toward the nature reserve are fenced off as private property. Therefore, plan time and energy reserves for detours.

Not recommended without long pants. We were wearing shorts and there were lots of thorns scratching our legs. Views along the coastline are beautiful but we were not thrilled with the trail. The largest part are very small trails that aren't really maintained. Wouldn't repeat it and also not recommend it to others.

Located high on the road towards Setúbal.

The first part is only rocks and it's really hard to cycle, about 200mt. Afterwards it turns into a trail meandering between mills with an amazing view on both sides. Note: at the end of the road, before the rocks, there is a bread shop that I'd recommend.

Unfortunately, the trail on the ridge is really a nuisance (October 4, 2024) I didn't take the other user's review seriously. Our legs and arms were completely scratched and torn. Be sure to wear long clothing and put on glasses to protect your eyes. Good footwear and a really good constitution are required. It's very easy to twist your ankle between the rocks. Despite all of this, the views are great. You're lost without a navigation system. The signage is extremely poor. Under no circumstances should you leave the path to take a shortcut.
