The Spätrokoko cascade below Seehof Castle near Bamberg is an elaborate water feature and was used as a flower and sun terrace after secularization in 1806 from 1870 onwards and converted into a swimming pool in 1952. The facility was in a desolate state when it was carried out in the early 80s under the direction of building researcher Prof. Dr. Schuller, the then Bamberg State Building Authority and the restoration workshops of the monument preservation.

Since 1403, it has been a proven fixture that shapes the landscape in front of Bamberg's gates: the Figurenweiher pond at Seehof Castle. It gets its name from the god of wine, Bacchus, and the singer Orpheus, both figures from Greek mythology, who, since their restoration in 2013, stand again in the middle of the pond as stone figure islands. Now, the regionally significant Figurenweiher has also been officially recognized as a cultural asset by the Upper Franconian Pond Association.

The Schweizerei dates from 1782, it was built under Prince-Bishop Franz Ludwig von Erthal (1779-1795) and designed by Lorenz Fink. It is located in the far east of the ensemble, a brisk walk from the castle, serving as a Point de vue.

The overall layout today presents itself as a rectangular garden, divided into six rectangles separated by paths. The castle is centrally located, the paths are designed as avenues. The original garden design is no longer recognizable, most areas are covered with lawn, the middle rectangles have sparse tree stands, and another area has a bosquet.
