Mountain biking here is fantastic. The path is naturally rough and boulders abound. Some experience and a good enduro bike (with at least gravity tires) are necessary.

The Ardèche remains a very beautiful place despite what this river takes away from our magnificent Loire.

In the evening, a wonderful view over the valley. There are small restaurants in the village and a great one at the very end 🍦.

We took this short stretch of the Grande Traversée d'Ardèche to reach Labastide Virac from Salavas. Be careful, some sections can be technical all the same (stones) and a bit bumpy! :-)
