Small village of La Meyze, accessible by train and bus. Beautiful church with a listed statue of Saint-Roch and his dog in gilded polychrome wood from the 17th century. Farmer's market every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Superb castle. It has been beautifully restored. We can see the different years of restoration and what a titanic job! We project ourselves according to the past centuries. The garden is very well done because it is from 1995. Bravo!

A wonderful place for a lunch break in the heat. The recreation center "Espace Hermeline" on the Plan d'Eau des Ribieres near the village of Buissiere-Galant.

It consists of serpentine, a low acid rock unlike the granite of the region. The serpentine moors therefore represent very original ecosystems and contain a biological heritage of great rarity.

The bridge owes its name to the ruins near the medieval tower of Estiveaux, demolished during the Revolution. Like other medieval works, it is also sometimes referred to as the “Roman bridge”. It is made up of three semicircular arches, the two supporting piers of which are protected by convex flanks forepeaks. On the downstream side, there are no stops or refuges. A low wall serves as a parapet. Source: Monumentum base Apr 10, 2021

The Tournerie farm is a collective farm with innovative methods that respect the environment. 11 young people aged 25 to 30, graduates of a higher school of agricultural engineers, have joined forces to create a collective farm in Coussac-Bonneval, in Haute-Vienne. The farm, which covers 83 hectares, produces organic fruits, vegetables, cheeses, pork, bread and beer. It relies on high-performance tools: 3 greenhouses of 1,500 m² with an autonomous irrigation system and 6 production workshops (brewery, bakery with bread oven and mill, cheese dairy, processing laboratory, goat farm and milking workshop)

Also with the MTB beautiful tours through the forests all around. Unfortunately, many routes are not included in the maps and must be "discovered". Local maps from the Office de Tourisme on Schlossplatz help!
