We had breakfast here – good croissants and sandwiches! Except for the coffee 👎, which was only available from an electric coffee maker and in a paper cup – we only used that because all of our favorite tobacco bars were closed.

Built between the 13th and 16th centuries, it plays with the transition of styles: radiant and flamboyant Gothic and Renaissance. It has a magnificent 14th century bell tower, almost 80 m high, which is currently being restored. Particularly worth seeing are the vault of the choir, the chapels of the ambulatory in late Gothic style and the carved capitals of the third pillar of the nave on the north side, which depict four scenes from chivalric romances and satirical writings of the Middle Ages. J.F. Dupont organ, built in 1997.

Amazing Campspot next to tiny village. Church in the village has tap water. I had a quiet night and a good sleep

Take this road if you’re cycling to Caen or Ouistreham. Much better than the busy road just to the east of it. The other one marked as a vélo route but it’s not great. Cars going fast that don’t give you much space. This route is quieter.
