I don't photograph other people's gardens - I do photograph what I can see from the outside. This longhouse is a typical building. It appears that this longhouse hasn't been altered yet. There's still the staircase at the front leading to the attic with its enormous roof overhang.

The colors of the flax fields are a special feast for the eyes—it's incredibly beautiful to linger there and enjoy the wind and the colors. We were here on July 9th.

Magnificent oak in the Seine-Maritime department whose exact age is not known, but which is estimated at 1200 years old, which would make it the oldest oak in France. This tree is worth the detour and is a very pleasant place to rest for a few moments.

The Beauvoir castle built between 1630 and 1660, by Robert d'Esmalleville, Governor of Caudebec. This castle today belongs to the social works of the SNCF and was the property of Gustave Couturier and his son-in-law René d'Alençon, both former mayors of Écalles-Alix.

The oak of Allouville is a real curiosity. The approximately 1000-year-old oak is hollow inside and accommodates two rooms, the lower one is even a chapel. Parts of the tree are covered with wooden shingles and a wooden staircase winds around the trunk. A real tree house, so to speak.
