Four tunnels in row, three are unlit and the road surface is poor, so lights are a very good idea!

For this ride it is absolutely necessary to have good lighting on your bike. Of the 4 tunnels, 2 are so dark that you can't see your hand in front of your face.

Pleasant cycle path on good asphalt with few side roads. Recommended! In the background you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Alps. The shortcut to the other side of the river is also recommended, to get to/from the foot of Alpe d'Huez.

This village, with a leveling off, is an interruption of the wonderfully beautiful climb from Allemond (north). From the north (Allemond) you climb largely in the shade in the morning. Ideal for hot days. Don't forget to enjoy the amazing view, because the view over the valley is superb!
