A place on the bridge overlooking the Acheneau river. The river is 30 km long. An interesting point is that this watercourse has such a slight slope that its course can be reversed when sufficiently high tides influence the river level. Human control of this river and the marshes of the southern Loire began especially under the influence and control of the Cistercian monks of the abbey of Buzay from the 12th century. Park around the Château de la Mévellière (18th century). You will find a wood, a pond and a large meadow there. Toilets + picnic tables. South side and west side entrances. The others seemed doomed to me. Please note: closed on Thursdays.
