Yes it’s an exciting little highlight to the trip but I wouldn’t recommend it to the faint of heart…the descent can be thrilling but if you come back the same way it’s a long steep uphill climb…next time I was out in the valley I just stuck to the roads & followed the road signs back to Versailles…there are a few climbs until you get out of the valley but the downhills are definitely worth it!!! Just follow rue de Versailles like all the cyclists…or from Chevreuse you can follow D13 up to the roundabout at Saint Forget & connect with D91 to go back into Versailles…the climbs aren’t as bad & it’s still a fun ride that takes you past Au Chant des Oiseaux Restaurant on hwy. D91…
