Prat de Bacies is a grassy plateau located in the Port del Comte massif, between the municipalities of Odèn and La Coma i la Pedra, in Solsonès. With altitudes exceeding 2,000 meters, it is an open space, surrounded by black pine forests and reliefs of glacial origin such as sinkholes and depressions. The landscape is open, silent and with a feeling of spaciousness that is unusual in the Pre-Pyrenees. Access is via forest tracks that may have stony or eroded sections, especially during the rainy season. It is a good point to stop, observe and rest in an authentic mountain environment, away from crowded routes. If you do it with an e-bike, it is advisable to bring a full battery, as there are no services or assistance points in the area.

The tower of the Ardèvol castle is located on top of a small rock, in the center of the town of the same name, next to the parish church of Santa Maria which was the parish church. The administrative center is near the sanctuary of Santa Maria de Pinós, at the top of the Serra de Pinós (931 m). Source: Wikipedia

Beautiful lake located in an environment that in spring and autumn dresses it in a thousand colors and birdsong...and without asking for anything, we have a good restaurant right on the shore (Cal Garretà) that takes care of the smells of so much eat like from the fireplace.

Ideal port on its southern slope for those who like climbs with high percentages. Mostly concreted road with a spectacular layout as it is excavated in the rock.

The region around Navès is characterized by diverse landscapes. You'll find trails traversing the Vall d'Ora, following river paths, and ascending into the foothills of the 'cingles de la serra de Busa' mountain range. Expect a mix of unpaved roads, forest tracks, and scenic paths, often with significant elevation changes and panoramic views.
Spring and autumn are generally ideal for gravel biking in Navès. The weather is milder, and the natural scenery, from lush valleys to changing foliage, is particularly beautiful. Summers can be hot, especially at lower elevations, while winters might bring colder temperatures and potential snow in higher mountain areas.
While many of the routes in this guide are rated as difficult due to their length and elevation, the region does offer quieter paths that can be adapted for families. Always check the route details for specific difficulty and distance before heading out with family.
Many natural areas and trails in Navès are dog-friendly, provided your dog is well-behaved and kept under control, especially around wildlife or livestock. Always carry water for your pet and be mindful of local regulations, particularly in protected areas. It's advisable to check specific route details or local signage for any restrictions.
