Spectacular views. But the best part was the descent on a well-paved road with some really fun curves.

An ideal place to enjoy views of the Mediterranean Sea lapping against the cliffs, the coast of the Cabo de Gata–Níjar Natural Park, and closer to home, the Rambla bridge.

The Punta de la Polacra Lighthouse is a lighthouse in Punta de la Polacra, near Níjar, in the province of Almería, Andalusia, Spain. It is located in the Cabo de Gata-Níjar Natural Park and is managed by the Almería Port Authority. It was inaugurated on September 9, 1991, making it the last lighthouse built in Almería. The lantern is mounted on an 18th-century watchtower, the "Wolf Tower". Its focal height of 281 metres above sea level makes it the highest lighthouse in Spain and the Mediterranean.
