Very very beautiful long beach near Barcelona. In the back streets you can find very nice bars and cafes. 😎

Located in the centre of Castelldefels, it is now more than just a café where you can have a good coffee and a good sandwich on a day of cycling. It is a whole business of premium coffee

Rat Penat is one of the quintessential cliffs near the city of Barcelona. In addition to its toughness (on both sides), it offers wonderful views of the Garraf coast and the city of Barcelona. Therefore, beyond the sporting challenge, it also offers scenic interest, as it is one of the best viewpoints in this area of the Catalan coast. The most typical and challenging slope of Rat Penat is the eastern slope, which rises from the beach itself. The profile of the pass (attached is a link to the profile published by the best altimetry website, www.cyclingcols.com -- http://www.cyclingcols.com/col/RatPenat) perfectly describes its toughness. I just want to leave you with a couple of notes: the end of the first tough section, just as you pass the first viewpoint, becomes extremely tough. You should save time for that final ramp. The second note is that the final ramp before reaching the pass is the toughest. Good luck and enjoy this beautiful wall!!

It is a very pleasant climb along a narrow road with no taxis. It is a stretch that is well worth the effort; I have always found it very pleasant.

Climbing the Rat Penat from its north-east side, which starts in Olivella, is also very challenging. It is easier than the coastal side, of course, but it also has very hard slopes. This final stretch is open and offers magnificent views of the Garraf coastline. I recommend it especially on pleasant autumn and winter days.

It is a town located within the Ordal Mountains, belonging to the Garraf massif, in the Catalan coastal mountain range. It is a town that is traditionally visited by many cycling routes from the regions of Barcelona, Vallés and Baix Llobregat, and which is usually a stopping point for a coffee given the tranquility of the town. It is not a town to visit, but if you pass by, consider it as an ideal time to stop.
