A climb of two halves, with a short, cruise through the midpoint to recover. Make the most of that bit, because the second half of this climb is a beast. 20-25% round the corners, on a loose and probably damp surface. Have fun!

This is up there with one of the most difficult climbs in the south Cotswold's in my opinion. Hard at the beginning and the end is very tough, I'll be back to attempt it again when my thighs have recovered. Fortunately it's in a beautiful secluded valley so no-one saw me slipping and sliding in full kit w***r attire pushing my bike

St Andrew's Church in is a serene church set in the centre of the Cotswold's village of Miserden. To access the church, you go through a very interesting Lynch Gate with a beautiful arch of Yew.

Wanted to test an experimental 27 Speed Raleigh Max trail basher. Full success, Tredworth to Painswick Beacon in the old fashioned way. Beautiful views as a reward and a full-on descent going crazy down to Upton St.Leonard's. Never bin any old bike.

Well regarded, pretty Bath Stone pub with lots of outdoor seating in a peaceful, village setting. Good range of food, dog friendly, open Weds-Sun.
