At the end of the route before sunset, we found this part of the lake where the views were amazing. Take time to sit and enjoy. There are so many benches on this part.

A pretty stone bridge to get to the equally pretty stone village of Turvey. Good views of the River Great Ouse and the wildlife that lives there.

We did the 3.63 mile loop from Harrold Odell county park. It's a fab park and route, although you'll need wellies after a wet winter! There is also a lot of farmland in the area and we heard bird scarers almost the whole way round, even walking through the village, so if you're bringing a dog with a noise aversion, you may want to keep them on the lead.

Follow the path between the houses - the OS route is now not accessible from this footpath. The route, disappointingly, leads you between two fences and there is not much to see - had hoped to get views of the River Gt Ouse.

The route we followed is the new path. The one to the NE on OS maps is no longer there. Dont follow the road as wee did for awhile turn straight onto the footpath - it's fairly obvious.
