Unfortunately, this oak's glory days are fading. Today's photos show that the tree has recently suffered significant damage. It seems likely that this tree is dying. It's a great shame for such a mighty oak ❤️🩹

The tower was built on the "Piekielna Góra", it is probably the highest elevation in the surrounding forests. Nearby there are several bunkers and an information board. A little further we have two places of national remembrance "Widoń" and "Grzmiąca" which remind us of the atrocities from the middle of the last century.

In high season it is very crowded, but the lake is big enough to accommodate everyone. The beach is under the supervision of lifeguards.

Premium gravel roads above Wikaryjskie. Mostly a nice gravel road, initially paved almost like concrete, then more standard gravel in places, with some water-washed depressions.
