A great place to stop for lunch or breakfast, or just a coffee well worth it.

Quiet and pretty lane, alongside a little stream.

This is a reasonably priced, immaculate, super-friendly campsite, close to the North Downs and Saxon Shore Ways. It also has the Stagger Inn - a BYOB bar, with kettle, microwave, TV, games, books, etc as the perfect place to relax/dry out/warm up/chill out after a hard day's hiking/biking. Post Office in the town (10 min walk) has some beer and wine, but isn't open late. https://sites.google.com/view/woodleasfarmcamping/home

This route is close to Port Lyme safari reserve. Founded by the millionaire, John Aspinall. This park, along with Howletts near Canterbury, runs a conservation project to get animals back into the wild. On a good day, you may even see a giraffe https://www.aspinallfoundation.org/port-lympne/
