Kingscot, located in the United Kingdom, is best visited during the spring months of April and May. During this period, the countryside awakens with wildflowers, bluebell-carpeted forests, and gardens in full bloom, offering a picturesque landscape for visitors [1]. Additionally, spring brings milder weather and fewer crowds compared to the peak summer season, allowing for a more relaxed exploration of the area [2]. Be sure to pack a raincoat, as rain showers are common during this time. Beautiful and and part of history

Possibly built on a neolithic stone circle (monoliths found in the fundament of the church) this wonderful church lies in a small valley surrounded but a beautiful little village.

This was a Victorian rectory. Through a coincidence I have stumbled over the family's instagram account @forgotten_victorian_rectory - they are currently redoing the whole house (and also posting old pictures of the estate).

Coldrum Longbarrow is the best-preserved megalithic longbarrow in Kent. Owned by the National Trust, this 3,000 year-old burial chamber is the only one of those originally present in the Medway Valley to remain virtually intact. From the landmark, you are afforded mystical views and a wonderfully serene atmosphere.

A large area of woodland and scrub with various trails to explore. Much of the wood is coppice, though occasionally you might find a defiant oak or beech standing proud. 300 acres (121 ha) of the wood is a military training area and is signposted as such. No live ammunition is used but the site is sometimes used in helicopter landing exercises.

Perched on an escarpment overlooking the Medway Valley, Gover Hill is a lovely small woodland. It consists mostly of coppiced chestnut and is awash with bluebells in springtime. Winter is also delightful here, as the lack of leaves clear the way for some wide panoramas of the valley below.
