Halfpenny Green Airport makes for a nice bike stop. Once you follow the blue line to the cafe, avoiding those fast things coming in to land as you cross the runway, you can have a nice half hour or so watching the planes land and take off whilst enjoying a coffee and bun!

This woodland is believed to have been around since the end of the Ice Age, around 6-10,000 years ago! Evidence of this long history is seen in the presence of ancient woodland species, including yellow archangel, herb paris, and dogβs mercury, as well as trees like small-leaved lime and wild service trees

St Mary the Virgin church in Doverdale. There are details that date parts of the building back to the 12th centaury but it's been rebuilt and modified over time. The three bells where cast in the 1600's.
