just a short detour off the route but worth the stop. quite stunning - and very noisy 😁

Such a lovely spot, with a choice of some welcome refreshments from the multiple establishments dotted around the lock.

The Kiosk is closed at the moment but you can still enjoy good views of the river and if lucky see a narrow boat passing the lock.

Love this place. On both sides! Beeston side offers a café on the lock (+ Marina Club a little further down). Clifton side offers beautiful woodlands nearby.
