There's a pleasant riverside rest spot just next to the bridge on the east bank, overlooking a pool in the river between the bridge and a small weir.

When I visited on a sunny April day, the river here was full of a couple of families paddleboarding and swimming, looked like a nice wild swimming spot. There's a good clearing by the bank to set up on or take a rest too.

Gressenhall Farm and Workhouse is home to the Museum of Norfolk Life, a rare breeds farm and a recreated workhouse. At the farm you can see the very rare Suffolk Punch Horse, a traditional working horse dating of which there are estimated to be only 400 in existence. You have to pay to go in, but there is a short footpath outside with information boards. For further details, see the website https://www.museums.norfolk.gov.uk/gressenhall-farm-and-workhouse

Rather grand country pub and hotel in a nice location in very scenic Hingham. Maybe somewhere to look at rather than stop at if you’re on a ride.
