Pretty beach . Next village up from Hemsby. Cliff top car park. Wooden hut cafes and gift shops.. council toilets.. access to beach is through the dunes. Cycle path runs along the side of the church...heading to the hidden Chapel.

Very scenic landscape looking out towards Filby Broad.

The dunes scenery is impressive in its scale, and the turbines are surprisingly close to shore.

A nice country route, ok surface and virtually traffic-free. Scenic enough but you're far enough away from the river that you can't actually see it.

There is a segregated cycle lane running alongside the main promenade road behind the beach but in the summer season it's also used by the local tourist 'train' as well as lots of pedestrians wandering into it. Ok if you're cruising slowly and don't mind dodging obstacles but otherwise stick to the proper road.

Scenic lunch spot but not really very bike-oriented: gravel and no bike parking, although there are outdoor picnic tables.

We stayed at Winterton on sea and can highly recommend The Fisherman's Return pub and restaurant.
