Great views looking across from Falklands Gardens close to the pedestrian ferry port that takes you over Portsmouth harbour. The ferry runs back and forwards every 15 minutes. It costs ยฃ5.10 adult rate and ยฃ1.70 to take the bike over. This is a two way return ticket, you can not buy a single ticket

Nice little tap room within the Explosion Museum of Naval Firepower, you can walk into the area for free and when I visited there were approx 20 taps on. A band was playing, and it looked like an Oktoberfest event, as several people were wearing Lederhosen.

A straight well surfaced tarmac route through wooded areas, shared by buses and cyclists. You can follow this trail almost the entire way back to the Gosport Ferry Terminal.
