Very nice, but relatively difficult alternative to the busy main road

When we were there, there was a road barrier and a sign saying the road was closed. However, it was possible to pass the barrier, so we did. Fantastic old road, gravel, with magnificent views.

There are signs saying the road is closed, but we just passed the barrier. There are no lights in the tunnel, and the gravel is quite loose, so be careful when passing. Beautiful area though, and a very exciting ride.
